December 13, 2023: Thatcher, AZ 85552 Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Chandler Prep Titans (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Thatcher will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Arete Prep (Gilbert, AZ).
The Trojans now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. Valley Christian will confront a Lions team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over American Leadership Academy - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 4-3.
