Alabama High School Basketball - Spring Garden routs Appalachian
December 13, 2024: Oneonta, AL 35121 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Spring Garden Panthers basketball team scored a big 63-36 win over the Appalachian Eagles.
The Panthers (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cleburne County (Heflin, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Cleburne County was trounced by Munford (Munford, AL), 58-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Victory Christian Lions (Pell City, AL) in a 1A Area 11 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Appalachian will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 81-36 league win over Ragland (Ragland, AL).
