Texas High School Basketball - Arlington toppled by Midlothian Heritage
December 13, 2024: Midlothian, TX 76065 Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX), 64-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Midlothian Heritage upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Corsicana (Corsicana, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 15 battle on Tuesday, December 17. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 5-9. Corsicana lost 67-48 in their recent non-league battle against North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)
The Colts now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haltom for a 6A Region I District 8 battle on Friday, December 20. Arlington will meet a Buffalos squad coming off a 60-26 non-league win over Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 6-6.
