Iowa High School Basketball - Monticello holds off Bellevue
December 13, 2024: Monticello, IA 52310 The Monticello Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Bellevue Comets to 51 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Easton Valley for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Monticello will confront a team coming off a 69-39 league win over Midland (Wyoming, IA). The record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Bellevue falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Comets host Northeast (Goose Lake, IA) to confront the Rebels in a River Valley game on Tuesday, December 17. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 4-2.
