In Friday's non-league contest, the Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) basketball team overwhelmed the host Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC), by a margin of 83-60.

The Vikings (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas More Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Chancellors go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas More Academy was trounced by Thales Academy Apex (Apex, NC), 42-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Oak Forest Warriors (Wake Forest, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14.
