The Holston Cavaliers basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Council Cobras to 28 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cavaliers now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Twin Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Holston will confront a Panthers team coming off a 44-36 non-league loss to Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Council falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 3-3. East Ridge lost 76-68 in their recent non-league game against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)
