In Friday's league contest, the host Northridge Polar Bears basketball team scored a big 86-40 triumph over the Covington Buccs.

The Polar Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel (Tipp City, OH). The Bees go into the Three Rivers contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Bethel smashed Cedarville (Cedarville, OH), 52-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Buccs confront the Milton-Union Bulldogs (West Milton, OH) in a Three Rivers contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Covington will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
