In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Cypress Creek Coyotes basketball team scored a close 56-51 win over the Land O' Lakes Gators.

The Coyotes (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Cobras come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Hudson was tipped by Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL), 69-52, in a non-league contest.

The Gators now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fivay for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17. Land O' Lakes will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 54-53 non-league win over Clearwater Central Catholic (Clearwater, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 7-1.
