North Carolina High School Basketball - Knightdale thwarts East Wake
December 13, 2024: Wendell, NC 27591 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC) and the host East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC), observed Knightdale's basketball team knock off East Wake by a score of 62-46.
The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ School (Arden, NC). The Greenies come into the non-league challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Christ School prevailed over Davidson Day (Davidson, NC), 83-63, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a 3A Quad County challenge, on Friday, December 20. East Wake will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Golden Falcons come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 70-57 non-league loss to Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC).
