The Chieftains now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Mohawk for a non-league game on Monday, December 16.

With the loss, Gibsonburg falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Edison (Milan, OH) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17.
