Kentucky High School Basketball - Somerset Christian fells Harlan
December 13, 2024: Somerset, KY 42564 The Somerset Christian Cougars basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Harlan Green Dragons to 61 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southwestern for a District 48 game on Tuesday, December 17. Somerset Christian will confront a Warriors team coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Harlan falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Green dragons travel to Knox Central (Barbourville, KY) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 3-1. Knox Central won 88-67 in their recent non-league game against Bath County (Owingsville, KY)
