Hemlock Huskies (Hemlock, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI), 44-38 in a league match.

With the victory, Hemlock advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Huskies host Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 2-3. Swan Valley lost 41-29 in their recent league match against Glenn (Bay City, MI)

The Chargers now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Baptist Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. Valley Lutheran will meet a Kings squad coming off a 55-39 non-league loss to Hemlock (Hemlock, MI). The Kings record now stands at 1-5.
