The Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Holland Patent Golden Knights (Holland Patent, NY), 97-68 in Friday's league bout.

The Black Knights now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Christian Brothers Academy for a non-league bout on Sunday, December 15. Rome Free Academy will play a Brothers team coming off a 81-49 league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Holland Patent falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Golden knights host Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY) to play the Thunder in a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer bout on Friday, December 20. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
