Maine High School Basketball - Lake Region knocks off Mountain Valley
December 13, 2024: Naples, ME 04055 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) and the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME), observed Lake Region's basketball team overcome Mountain Valley by a margin of 54-40.
The Lakers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Clippers come into the B South challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Yarmouth defeated Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME), 71-49, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Mountain Valley will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
