Virginia High School Basketball - Langley toppled by Robinson
December 13, 2024: Fairfax, VA 22032 Robinson Rams (Fairfax, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Langley Saxons (McLean, VA), 52-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Robinson upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Rams host Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to face the Bruins in a District 4 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 2-2. Lake Braddock lost 73-43 in their recent non-league match against Edison (Alexandria, VA)
The Saxons now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakefield for a District 2 match on Monday, December 16. Langley will face a Warriors squad coming off a 42-38 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
