Virginia High School Basketball - Langley can't hold off West Potomac
December 3, 2024: McLean, VA 22101 West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Langley Saxons (McLean, VA), 55-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Potomac advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA) to face the Bruins in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 0-1. Forest Park lost 70-60 in their recent non-league match against Riverside (Leesburg, VA)
The Saxons now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Annandale for a non-league match on Friday, December 6.
