River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA), 55-52 in a league match.

With the victory, River Ridge upgrades its record to 6-7 on the year. The Knights travel to Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA) to face the Raiders in a AAAAA Region 6 match on Monday, December 16. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 7-4. Riverwood won 64-56 in their recent non-league match against Westside (Macon, GA)

The Trojans now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sprayberry for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Lassiter will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 59-44 league loss to Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 5-3.
