Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tussey Mountain nips Mount Union

In Friday's league contest, the host Tussey Mountain Titans basketball team scored a close 51-50 triumph over the Mount Union Trojans.

The Titans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Branch (Morrisdale, PA). The Warriors go into the Moshannon Valley contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, West Branch nipped Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA), 65-38, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Mount Union will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Rockwood (Rockwood, PA).
