Louisiana High School Basketball - New Living Word bests St. Mary
December 13, 2024: Ruston, LA 71272 The New Living Word Lions basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting St. Mary Tigers to 52 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now possess a 1-10 record. They play next when they host North Caddo for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. New Living Word will play a Titans team coming off a 62-49 non-league loss to Ringgold (Ringgold, LA). The Titans record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, St. Mary falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Quitman (Quitman, LA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 11-2. Quitman won 58-48 in their recent non-league game against Haughton (Haughton, LA)
