The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Valley Forge Patriots (Parma Heights, OH) and the host Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH), observed Valley Forge's basketball team knock off Normandy by a score of 63-45.

The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln West (Cleveland, OH). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln West prevailed over John Adams (Cleveland, OH), 74-65, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Invaders encounter the Bay Rockets (Bay Village, OH) in a Cleveland West challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Normandy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 81-51 non-league loss to Elyria (Elyria, OH).
