The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) and the host Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), observed Quincy's basketball team overwhelm Sterling by a score of 81-43.

The Blue Devils (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Panthers come into the Western Big 6 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, East Moline United trounced Galesburg (Galesburg, IL), 79-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Warriors encounter the Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Sterling will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 63-42 league win over Orion (Orion, IL).
