In Friday's non-league contest, the host Rocktown Raptors basketball team scored a good 50-41 triumph over the Riverheads Gladiators.

The Raptors (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights go into the Valley contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Turner Ashby was topped by Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 64-63, in a non-league contest.
