Virginia High School Basketball - Stuarts Draft bests Rockbridge County
December 13, 2024: Lexington, VA 24450 The Stuarts Draft Cougars basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Rockbridge County Wildcats to 42 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Stonewall Jackson for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Stuarts Draft will play a Generals team coming off a 47-32 non-league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Generals record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Rockbridge County falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Broadway (Broadway, VA) to play the Gobblers in a Valley game on Tuesday, December 17. The Gobblers go into the game with a record of 1-3. Broadway lost 57-53 in their recent non-league game against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA)
