In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Southern Coffey County Titans basketball team scored a close 42-36 triumph over the Altoona-Midway Jets.

The Titans (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tyro Christian (Tyro, KS). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Tyro Christian nipped Chanute Christian (Chanute, KS), 31-9, in a league contest.
