In Friday's league contest, the host Winamac Warriors basketball team scored a close 44-39 triumph over the Argos Dragons.

The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, DeMotte Christian was tipped by Kouts (Kouts, IN), 52-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons confront the Glenn Falcons (Walkerton, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Argos will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record.
