The Calhoun County Cougars basketball squad (Edison, GA), was crushed 57-27 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA)

With the victory, Monroe advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Golden Tornadoes travel to Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, December 20. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 5-3. Lovejoy won 58-56 in their recent league battle against Banneker (College Park, GA)
