Washington High School Basketball - Cascade Christian triumphant over Chimacum
December 13, 2024: Puyallup, WA 98372 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cascade Christian Cougars (Puyallup, WA) and the visiting Chimacum Cowboys (Chimacum, WA), observed Cascade Christian's basketball team overwhelm Chimacum by a score of 63-26.
The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Vashon Island (Vashon Island, WA). The Pirates come into the 1A Nisqually challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Vashon Island was routed by Klahowya (Silverdale, WA), 47-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cowboys encounter the Annie Wright Gators (Tacoma, WA) in a 1A Nisqually challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Chimacum will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 42-40 non-league win over Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA).
