Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE), 62-27 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Northwest advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Seward (Seward, NE) to meet the Bluejays in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Bluejays enter the match with a record of 2-1. Seward lost 77-39 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE)

The Cardinals now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seward for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19.
