The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) and the visiting Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI), observed East Greenwich's basketball team overcome Exeter-West Greenwich by a margin of 44-29.

The Avengers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rogers (Newport, RI). The Vikings come into the Division 2 challenge with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Scarlet Knights battle the Toll Gate Titans (Warwick, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Exeter-West Greenwich will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 25-21 non-league loss to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI).
