In Friday's non-league contest, the host Greene County Wildcats basketball team scored a good 40-22 triumph over the George County Rebels.

The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Northeast Jones topped Seminary (Seminary, MS), 53-37, in a non-league contest.
