North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwood overwhelms Jordan-Matthews
December 13, 2024: Pittsboro, NC 27312 The Northwood Chargers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets to 16 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.
The Chargers now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Northwood will confront a Tigers team coming off a 67-44 non-league win over Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Jordan-Matthews falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC) to confront the Stallions in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina game on Monday, December 16. The Stallions go into the game with a record of 3-1. Southeast Alamance lost 53-45 in their recent non-league game against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC)
