Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC), 58-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lamar County advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to meet the Black Hawks in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Black Hawks enter the match with a record of 4-0. North Buncombe won 51-45 in their recent non-league match against Freedom (Morganton, NC)

The Rams now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Daniel Boone for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. T.C. Roberson will meet a Trailblazers squad coming off a 78-56 non-league win over Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN). The Trailblazers record now stands at 3-4.
