In Wednesday's league contest, the host North Buncombe Black Hawks basketball team scored a big 64-33 triumph over the T.C. Roberson Rams.

The Black Hawks (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars go into the 3A/4A Mountain contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Asheville was trounced by McDowell (Marion, NC), 80-36, in a league contest.
