December 13, 2024: Plymouth, NC 27962 The Washington County Panthers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Pasquotank County Panthers to 43 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host North East Carolina Prep for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Washington County will confront a Husky team coming off a 56-13 non-league loss to Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Husky record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Pasquotank County falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Camden County (Camden, NC) to confront the Bruins in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal game on Tuesday, December 17. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 0-6. Camden County lost 42-26 in their recent non-league game against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)
