December 13, 2024: Swoope, VA 24479 Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA), 57-1 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Buffalo Gap upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bison travel to Alleghany (Covington, VA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 1-1. Alleghany lost 41-11 in their recent non-league match against Staunton (Staunton, VA)
The Generals now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuarts Draft for a non-league match on Monday, December 16. Stonewall Jackson will face a Cougars squad coming off a 36-23 non-league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
