December 13, 2024: Arlington, VA 22201 The Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) basketball edged the host Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), 56-50 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Lewis for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. Oakton will play a Lancers team coming off a 85-8 non-league loss to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Washington-Liberty falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Generals host Herndon (Herndon, VA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 16.
