In Saturday's non-league test, the Broomfield Eagles (Broomfield, CO) basketball squad got by the host Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO), by a final score of 52-45.

Next, the Eagles clash with the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 18. Broomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 6-0 record after their 75-62 non-league win over Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM).
