The San Joaquin Memorial Panthers (Fresno, CA) basketball edged the host Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA), 65-64 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. San Joaquin Memorial will play a Lions team coming off a 59-55 non-league win over Miramar (Miramar, FL). The Lions record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Clovis West falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to George Washington (Denver, CO) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-0. George Washington won 81-65 in their recent non-league bout against Overland (Aurora, CO)
