Texas High School Basketball - Timpson holds off West Rusk
December 13, 2025: New London, TX 75682 The Timpson Bears basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host West Rusk Raiders to 53 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bears now have a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pineywoods Community Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Timpson will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 78-77 non-league loss to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 10-6.
With the loss, West Rusk falls to 7-5 on the year. The Raiders travel to Elkhart (Elkhart, TX) to clash with the Elks in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 16.
