In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Arvin Bears basketball squad scored a nice 50-33 victory over the East Bakersfield Blades.

Next, the Bears face the North Stars (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 6. Arvin will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record.

The Blades (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA). The Warriors enter the South Yosemite - Mountain outing with a 6-4 record.
