In Saturday's non-league test, the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), by a final score of 50-49.

Next, the Colts play the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 18. Cape Fear will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 50-44 non-league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC).

With the loss, South View moves to 0-8 on the season. The Tigers host Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a Eastern Sandhills 5A/6A test on Thursday, December 18.
