In Saturday's non-league test, the Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) basketball squad got by the visiting Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO), by a score of 46-40.

Next, the Cardinals encounter the Woodland Park Panthers (Woodland Park, CO) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 16. Elizabeth will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 46-6 non-league loss to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO).

With the loss, Manitou Springs falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO) to play the Meloneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 16.
