California High School Basketball - Elk Grove fells Pleasant Valley

The Elk Grove Thundering Herd basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Pleasant Valley Vikings to 33 in the Thundering Herd non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Thundering Herd now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Futures for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 16. Elk Grove will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 55-8 non-league loss to Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-9.

The Vikings (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, West Valley was defeated by Placer (Auburn, CA), 48-40, in a non-league outing.
