Arkansas High School Basketball - Melbourne victorious over Izard County
December 13, 2025: Brockwell, AR 72517 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Melbourne Bearkatz basketball team scored a good 55-43 triumph over the Izard County Cougars.
The Bearkatz (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Alpena (Alpena, AR). The Leopards enter the non-league outing with a 5-12 record. In their last outing, Alpena ran past Deer (Deer, AR), 61-58, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Timberwolves enter the 2A Region 2 outing with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Cedar Ridge was toppled by Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR), 66-43, in a league game.
