Michigan High School Ice Hockey - University Liggett nips Anchor Bay
December 13, 2025: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host University Liggett Knights ice hockey team scored a close 5-4 triumph over the Anchor Bay Tars.
The Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI). The Titans enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Lumen Christi Catholic held off Allen Park (Allen Park, MI), 9-0, in a non-league game.
The Tars now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Plymouth for a non-league game on Monday, December 15. Anchor Bay will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-6.
