Ohio High School Basketball - Highland can't hold off Barberton

The Barberton Magics basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Highland Hornets to 42 in the Magics league triumph on Tuesday.

The Magics now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Revere for a Suburban - American contest on Friday, December 17. Barberton will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 63-55 league loss to Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-3.

The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Kent, OH). The Rough Riders enter the Suburban - American contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt was nudged by Copley (Copley, OH), 46-44, in a league contest.
