The Choctaw Yellowjackets basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Ponca City Wildcats to 49 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Putnam City West for a Oklahoma Big 10 contest on Tuesday, January 4.

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee (Shawnee, OK). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Shawnee prevailed over Ada (Ada, OK), 75-54, in a non-league contest.
