The Plainwell Trojans basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Dowagiac Chieftains to 37 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paw Paw for a Wolverine B contest on Friday, December 17. Plainwell will battle a Red Wolves team coming off a 71-27 league loss to Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI). The Red Wolves record now stands at 0-3.

The Chieftains (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sturgis (Sturgis, MI). The Trojans enter the Wolverine B contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Sturgis nudged Allegan (Allegan, MI), 65-52, in a league contest.
