Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL), 42-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Paxton-Buckley-Loda upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 17. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Shelbyville lost 53-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Mattoon (Mattoon, IL)

Next up, the Falcons play the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 18. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
