Maryland High School Basketball - Richard Montgomery overwhelmed by Quince Orchard
December 14, 2021: Gaithersburg, MD 20878 The Quince Orchard Cougars basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting Richard Montgomery Rockets to 58 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gaithersburg for a Montgomery 4A West contest on Friday, December 17. Quince Orchard will battle a Trojans team coming off a 50-10 non-league win over Blair (Silver Spring, MD). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
The Rockets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Watkins Mill was routed by Magruder (Rockville, MD), 73-57, in a league contest.
